Crescendo: soft skills training for sustainability

Our Experience in Perugia: Creating the Crescendo Project

In February 2024, Perugia became the epicenter of international collaboration and support for the rural sector. Four entities from different parts of the world came together with a common goal: to shape the Crescendo project. On this occasion, Liberopensatore and Smascherati from Italy, the Asociación Desarrollo Tecnológico Rural from Spain, and a team from Kocaeli Beufa joined forces to combine diverse knowledge, experiences, and visions.

During our stay in Perugia, we worked intensively to develop the dynamics, workshops, and the theoretical and practical foundation that underpin Crescendo. This project is rooted in fundamental values such as sustainability, international cooperation—with a focus on inclusion and equity—continuous growth, experiential learning, and the practical application of innovation and adaptability.

Our commitment is clear: to improve and support the growth of the rural environment. Crescendo is not just a project; it is a movement that seeks to empower livestock farmers, agricultural workers, tour guides, families, artisans, and all those who believe in the sustainable development of the rural environment. We know that they are the guardians of our land, and they deserve to be heard, supported, and equipped with the tools necessary to carry out their professional and personal projects in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.

Together, we have created a communication course that will serve as the voice of these rural contexts. A space where they can learn, share, and develop their skills, projecting their voices and ideas to the world. This course aims not only to provide technical knowledge but also to strengthen the confidence and capability of our participants to face the challenges of implementing their projects in the rural environment.

The experience in Perugia was much more than a work meeting; it was the beginning of a new stage in which, through Crescendo, we will continue to drive positive transformation in our rural communities. Because we believe that sustainability is not just a goal but a way of life that we must promote and expand.
